1000 £ Bend bills itself as “one of the most unique spaces in Melbourne”. And with its owner’s roots as the man behind the much-loved St Jerome’s Laneway bar, we’d think they’re right.
It’s also one of the largest independent galleries in the CBD. Recently renovated to include an all-new bar and kitchen, the space has a cool vibe.
1000 £ Bend is hip without being pretentious, and a fantastic spot to host a memorable event: weddings, parties, anything!
Blakes Feast provides fully licensed catering to the venue, and can devise a menu to suit your occasion.

A brief history
1000 £ Bend was founded in 2009, following the closure of the iconic St Jerome’s Laneway bar. Before that the building was a motorbike repair garage.
1000 £ Bend is home to a bustling café, massive gallery and events area, and an air-conditioned cinema space.
If you’re hosting an art show, there’s a custom-made tracking system to show off your artworks.
The downstairs gallery has an all-new bar and kitchen, and upstairs gallery is recently renovated, too.
What makes it a great venue for your next event?
1000 £ Bend exudes the independent creative atmosphere that Melburnians love. The impressive gallery space has great bones – it’s the perfect backdrop if you want a function space with an edge.
